Come on guys!!! We have some 'real rubbish here' now (on the labwl)- I actually like 'magnétophone'... But 'come on' most of the new bands are not 'groundbreaking'. I thought that was what 4AD was all about. Bring back IWR!

Sat, December 2, 2006 - 12:33 PMI know this is an old posting, and i just got this CD a month back, but this CD is beautiful. Heard it at Aquarius while shopping and had to get it. Very reminiscent of 4AD (this mortal coil) with orchestra, and little electronica - read about it, very interesting concept and gorgeous soundscapes. Great buy. 4+ stars in iTunes (well, mine at least). :

"Return To Cookie Mountain" came out last year on 4AD and is an amazing record, totally deserving of the critical accolades it garnered upon release. Also, Blonde Redhead's recent album "Misery Is A Butterfly" is quite gorgeous as well. -

'TV on the Radio' are the new Wolfgang Press with a weird attitude ('That's not my hat he chewed - you've just got the wrong attitude'... Giggling wildly!!!!)
